- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
As a young investigator (PhD obtained in 2009) in the newly renamed Leptospirosis Research and Expertise Unit, I have been enrolled at the Institut Pasteur de Nouvelle-Calédonie in 2010 as a territorial employee through a contract of assignment by the Government of New Caledonia. I work on an important disease for the country, the leptospirosis, and more precisely on the pathophysiology of the infection and the host immune response. Part of my current projects deals more precisely with the regulation of cytokine gene expression and their involvement in the inflammatory processes during acute and chronic forms of leptospirosis.
