Malcolm is an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Early Career Research Award (DECRA) fellow at the Priority Research Centres for GrowUpWell and Healthy Lungs, based at the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI). Previously a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) early career fellow, Malcolm’s research focuses on understanding how respiratory challenges in early life impair the development of the lungs and a healthy immune system.
